Based on ‘BYU MERS Consolidated Stats Antarctic Iceberg Database‘.
Satellites track icebergs drifting through Antarctic waters. Each movement, coordinate, measurement is recorded - transforming wandering masses of ice into streams of data.
For each iceberg in the database, a large white book was created. Page after page of numbers - latitudes, longitudes, dates, dimensions - bound together into an object. The book becomes an iceberg like monument: cold, white, heavy.
